Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am very confused about my visit with my MS Doctor at the Clinic The MRI. report said I have MS. He said I don t that I have Chronic Migraines. I have had many of the MS symptoms for many years and now the MRI. says I have MS but I am being told the MRI is incorrect. Can you help
Unfortunately, there is not much as far as details are concerned.
All I have to go is your conclusion of things-
1. That you have symptoms of MS.
2. That MRI is suggestive of MS.
I would need the exact symptoms and the exact MRI report, before I can draw my conclusions and tell you whether your doctor is right or not.
And yes, chronic migraines can cause MRI changes some of which may mimic MS.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
