Hi, the MRI report of my knee says a few things about the impression which i cannot understand. Please help with interpretation. Mild degeneration of articular cartilage over medial femoral condyle Minimal free fluid in joint cavity Grade 1 high signal intensity in anterior cruciate ligament in tibial attachment - contusion
It means the cartilage which is situated in the medial portion of femur bone lower end has degenerated.
The fluid present in very little quantity in joint space means swelling. Again if there are swelling and inflammation at the junction of anterior cruciate ligament, then some degeneration of kneejoint is present.
