Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had an MRI on my spine and one of the findings of the T12 Vertebral said Focal indeterminate structure centered within T12 vertebral body measuring 14mm without edema or cortical distruption. This is of unclear etiology may reflect an area of atypical bone marrow compostion. Six month follow-up recommended to ensure stability of this finding. Not sure what all this means? My PA is sending me to a neuro surgeon as there is a lot of additional nerve damage, etc. to other areas of the spine.
There is a doubtful shadow in T12 vertebra which measures 14 mm and whose exact nature is not known. Though the vertebral damage due to it has not started it is pressing over the nerves originating from the spinal cord and causing radiculopathy. Visit a neurosurgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
