What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

I have recently been diagnosed with MS. My MRI report says there is focal white matter lesion centrally and anteriorly in the cord extending from the c2-3 disc space to mid c3 measuring 5-6mm in diameter, which is consistent with an area of chronic demyelination. It also says there is mild signal heterogeneity elsewhere wit out discrete focal lesion. What does this mean?

There is significant neuronal loss and it is typical of MS. Consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI scan.
