Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Due to continuous dull headaches for two months, intermittent left eye pain, blurred vision and color clarity dullness as well as white haze, I had a CT scan and MRI of the brain. Unable to understand or define one of the findings noted by the radiologist- Finding: There is minimal micro vascular ischemic white matter disease in the right frontal operculum. There is a minimal small focus of T2 prolongation in the right frontal operculum white matter. There is no space occupying lesion. There is no demyelination.
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
This finding is not something serious and i dont think that small sichemic lesions could cause these symptoms. You should do EEG more and check your optic nerve. You have minimal microvascular ischemia and this is probbaly due to past small cerebral ischemic attack.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
