What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

My MRI report states - I had a C5/6 partial discectomy due to a work place injury in 2010 and symptoms have returned - pain in shoulder down arm and tingling pins and needles in fingers again. My MRI states the following - Multilevel uncovertebral riding or annular bulging is present most prominent at CS/6 with prominent extension into the left foramen. What does this mean - my dr had suggested a cortisone injection as first step ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There is a minor condition associated with your spine. Most probably these are not that much severe and can be managed conservatively.

Consult a spine surgeon and evaluated.

Most probably surgical correction is unlikely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
