Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what does this mean? There is mild reversal of the normal lordotic curvature of the cervical spine which may be relate to pt. positioning. The sagittal T1 weighted images suggest multilevel cervical spondylosis with posterior disk/osteophyte complexes most pronounced at the C5-6 level where there is a right-sided disk/osteophyte complex contributing to the effacement of the right ventral subarachnoid space without significant cervical cord deformity. There is mild right-sided neural foraminal narrowing. Further eval with an MRI of the cervical spine could be considered as clinically warranted.
Hello, I have gone through your MRI report. Your MRI suggest the possibility of age related wear and tear of your spine most common in cervical region(neck region),this condition is medically termed as cervical spondylosis. It can be compared with osteoarthritis of knee. It is an age related condition and nothing abnormal in it.The MRI rule out the presence of any tumors or anu other serious conditions. The radiologist also advise to take a repeat MRI if you have pain or any other symptoms. I suggest you to consult an orthopedician and he will explain various treatment options, which might include physiotherapy and some medicines for pain and discomfort.
Hope this information helps. Wishing you good health.
Regards. Dr.Shinas Hussain
