There is a rt old infarct noted in the external cloustrum area. There are no other focal lesions. Involutional changes in appropriate ventriculomogaly. I understand your concern regarding the impressions in the MRI report. There are various findings of MRI which are seen in both diseased and normal individuals. Some findings look abnormal but still, they are normal. The findings which you have said may be belonging to an elderly person. As a person normally ages, there will be some changes in the body, as well in the brain.
Some part of the report represents an abnormality and some a normal change. I would suggest my patients see the doctor who advised MRI and discuss with that doctor as he/she would have been the patient and could tell correctly, or else you would be worried by other answers.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Azhar Hussain,
Internal Medicine Specialist
