Please interpret this MRI with contrast result: small focal are of decreased attenuation on T1 weighted images and increased signal intensity on T2, FLAIR and diffusion weighted images that is also increased on the ADC map is noted. No findings for acute infarction. Mild generalized degenerative changes are noted. No focal areas of abnormal contRast enhancement noted. No mass, mass effect or midline shift noted. I am a 42 year old, healthy female withat no cognitive decrease, major complaint of ongoing headaches.
1.The report suggest multiple chronic / small vessel ischemic changes seen in the grey white matter. 2.Which are seen as a hypo - darker side , and rest hyper - brighter more towards the old infarcts. 3.The reason could be increased blood pressures, or any systemic pathologies. 4.Rest of the brain and the structures along with mid line appears normal. 5.And there is no features suggest any acute pathology - take of underlying medical conditions, and blood pathologies.
