Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had 2 failed L4-S1 fusions due to mrsa. Since removing the last hardware, severe pain radiating down right leg and a different pain just in left hip. MRI impressions were: new anterolisthesis of L4 on L5, since posterior pedicle screw hardware removal. 2.)worsening L4-S1 bony foraminal stenosis, status post hardware removal.3) L3-L4 DISC BULGE. No herniation seen. The pain in leg is excruciating!! I cant take it anymore!! Suggestions BESIDES see a doctor.
Hello, Thanks for the details provided. -As you have developed a new anterior listhesis of L4 over L5 you have to meet your doctor for the correction. -Apart from the above condition you even have a worsened stenosis which may be the reason for your leg pain. The exiting nerve root compression. -This has developed due to the post surgical removal of your implants.
You have no choice other than consulting your doctor and getting things corrected.
Thank You
