Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had an MRI that showed a hemangioma of the C2 Vertebral body, i dont see a specialist for 2 more weeks, is this something i should be concerned about? I have a family hx of bone cancer and I am not finding a lot of information concerning this online. All i can find is this is something that is commonly found in the TSpine.

Hello, Hemangioma is a benign (non-cancerous) tumor arising from blood vessels. Various treatment options are available including surgical removal and sclerotherapy. Consult a vascular surgeon and he will direct you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
