General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear Carl
Degeneration in the spine, either from degenerative disc disease or from osteoarthritis, is known as spondylosis.
in your case it appears to be fairly wide spread almost involving all the cervical area.
the seriousness oF the situation depends on the amount of symptoms you are having what symptoms you are having and how severe they are.
the only non surgical course of action in your case is use of a cervical collar at all times and physiotherapy with medications to control the symptoms
