I have had 13 months of neurology issues. Dizzy, can t find words, call things by the wrong name etc. It all started with a sinusitis where the ER doc refused to give me antibiotics. It was a weekend. By the time I got to see my Doc, it had gone systemic, almost totally knocked out my adrenal glands, blood work was a mess. I was barely producing cortisol. That was all taken care of but now 13 months later I still have all these neuro symptoms. MRI and EEG done today. foci of increased signal within the subcortical white matter both cerebral hemispheres. Findings compatible with foci of gliosis. I m a nurse but do not get this. Can you put this in terms I can understand?
