What Does The Following PAP Smear Test Results Indicate?
I have receive my wife PAP Smear test report as below... is there any abnormalties... we tring for baby past 2 years not positive... their is symptems for one week or maximum 10 days then after she get bleading every month.... pls advice... Clinical Details: L.M.P -15.1.15 Gross Features: Single unstained slide received Cytology Smear shows a predominance of superficial cell with sheets of normal endocervical cells, the background shows a moderate inflammatory infilterate made up of mainly Neutrophils Impression Smear appears to be satisfactory for evaluation. There appears to be a predominance of superficial cells coinciding with the proliferative phase of the menstrual cycle. Reactive cellular changes associated with a moderate inflammatory pathology showing a predominance of neutrophils are seen. Smear is negative for intraepithelial lesions or malignancy
