What Does The Following USG Report Suggest?
In the USG neck my thyroid gland appears bulky. Parenchyma is heterogeneous. vasculariy is notmal. Right lobe 6X1.6X1.7cm & left lobe 5.2X1.9X1.7 cm. Isthumus 4mm Interpolar region of left lobe shows well defined isoechoic nodule with hypoechoic halo measuring 9X4.5 mm. No intra nodular calcification/vascularity. Thyroid gland mobility is normal. Nor retrosternal extension Sub centimetric level II, III, IV & IV lymphnodes seen bilaterally. IJV & carotid appear normal. No mass/lesion or collection seen in the neck. Features suggestive of thyroiditis with solitary benign nodule of left lobe. What does this mean?

There is small swelling in one of your thyroid gland. It is likely a benign (non-cancerous) lesion.
You can go for a fine needle biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.
Consult a general surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
