Hi Doctor, My Baby age is 6 month and in USG Cranium Head Test result below. 1. Prominent extra cerebral CSF spaces over both cerebral hemisphere, however normal ventricular system --? Benign external hydrocephalus. 2. Visualized brain parenchyma normal . No Midline shift no sizeable focal lesion. 3. Periventricular region normal. 4. Bilateral thalami normal. Please suggest what we need to do.
There is mild hydrocephalus, means there is a collection of fluid in the brain. No significant changes are there. Generally, it will settle without many problems. You can consult a neurosurgeon for expert evaluation.
