My husband, 66 yo and x smoker, has just received an x-ray film with a report of Peribronchial thickening in bilateral perihilar regions and right lower lung. Patchy infiltration in right lower lung and left perihilar region, two calcifications in right upper hermithorax. IMPRESSION: Chronic lung disease with infection. Recently, about a year ago, I ve noticed he has lost the volume of his voice. His speech has no strength at times.

What Does The Following X-Ray Report Suggest?
Hi, The X-ray chest is suggestive of chronic infection like tuberculosis with areas of scarring and inflammation. You can consult a pulmonologist and get evaluated for further management. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
