What Does The Following X-ray Report Indicate?

hi doctors, what does sub segmental atelectatis versus fibrosis mean on lower left lung mean? it s the first time I had this kind of impression on my x-ray, I have been doing annual physical examination for the past 10 years. is this something serious? thank you.

Subsegmental atlectasis means there is collapse of that part of the lung, it could be due to various reasons including infections, obstruction etc.. I advise you to get complete work up done to rule out the cause of collapse.
