Can you explain my xray results to me? Study Result Narrative EXAMINATION: XR CERVICAL SPINE COMPLETE HISTORY: Cervicalgia COMPARISON: None FINDINGS: Mild straightening normal cervical curvature may be related to mild spasm. Vertebral body height and contour is otherwise maintained without subluxation. Prevertebral soft tissues, disc spaces and foramina are unremarkable. IMPRESSION: Straightening normal curvature otherwise unremarkable cervical spine Component Results

The cervical spine is normally curved, known as "cervical lordosis". When this normal curvature is lost, and the cervical spine is straightened, this is a sign of neck muscles spasm.
That's all what we can interpret from the cervical spine X ray. We cannot detect the cause of muscle spasm from this examination.

Otherwise, the report is stating normal findings.
