Good Morning , My Dr. said hat i have a pneumonia seen on my X ray she gave me 7 dyas of anti biotics the result are Pneumonia wth atelectatic compent , ight middle & lower lobes , & Mild Cardiomegaly & Atherosclerotic thoraric aorta & minimal right sided pleural efusuion / thickening . my dr. say nothing about this no medicine after 7 days of anti biotics . It isdangereus for me
I think that you are feeling well after taking the treatment.
The elements on X-ray take more time to go and the treatment is given based more on clinical status.
If you have problems like fever or something else i suggest you to see the doctor again. If you do not have these you should only take a X-ray some weeks later to see a more normal result.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anila Skenderi,
General & Family Physician
