My daughter is now 7yrs old.X-ray PNS Waters view---shows haziness is seen in both mxillary sineuses. Both the frontal sinuses appear normal.No evidence of nasal polyp is seen.the bony walls of sinuses appear intact, conclusion---BILATERAL MAXILLARY SINUSITIS------------- please advise how to prevent ? and causes ? treatement and easy method of prevention like yoga or any aurvedic medicines.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The report you have enclosed of your daughter is shows features of nose and paranasal air sinuses. What is evident from the report is that there is haziness in maxillary sinus indicating infection/inflammation of maxillary sinus termed as 'sinusitis'. It needs to be treated with appropriate course of oral antibiotics. Kindly consult ENT specialist in this regard for institution of appropriate treatment. Such episodes can be prevented by doing breathing exercises regularly and taking steam inhalation when contacted with cough and cold. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
