Hi I need to know a few things, I had x-rays taken, and theses are the findings, I need to know is it necessary to have a MRI or CT scan done: Abdomen, some air fluid levels are identified within the ascending colon and proximal transverse colon, there is no evidence of free air or fluid, there is a non specific bowel gas pattern, some fluid reidue is identified within the stomach bubble, a rotational scolisis of the Lumbar spine convex to the left seen, No abnormal soft tissue calcification is noted, Calcified phlebolith is noted on the left side of the pelvis. The appearance in the right flank area is suggestive of a Riedel s lobe of the liver. this is developmental variant. Correlation with presentation and haematological makers would better evaluate the need for further imaging. what does all this mean?
