I AMA survivor of two aortic dissections. The assending aorta dissected and was stunted in2013. The descending, in2016. I just spent the night in the hospital because of chest pain on left side is chest. And-ray was one of the tests they administered. What does the following mean? FINDINGS: The cardiac silhouette and pulmonary vascularity are within normal limits. There is mild elevation of the right hemidiaphragm. Aortic endograft is noted. No consolidation, pleural effusion, or I m most concerned by the s mild elevation of the right hemidiaphragm. How is this treated? Acidisisabd have been tajensodium bycarbonate. However, it doesn t seem to be helping. My kidney funcytion is out of whack. I ve been referee. Back to my PCP to order more blood work and not to my nepherologist. Should I be concerned? What questions should I ask? What is the treatment for this?
As per your X-ray report, it may be pleural effusion. Kindly do CT scan chest to elaborate more and accurate diagnosis. The causes of chest pain may be cardiac, pulmonary or musculoskeletal. For pain, you can take tablet Diclofenac after consultation. In case of breathlessness, do ECG and consult with a cardiologist once.
