What Does The Following X-ray Report Suggest?
My x-ray of the left knee showed tibial spine hypertrophy. What is this? Also mild to moderate joint effusion and mild tricompartmental osteophytosis. Whew. In sum, the report said I have arthritis in the knee. But specifically what do these things mean?

Yes it is arthritis. Tibia is the larger bone in the leg and its spine is in front. That is enlarged. Joint effusion means fluid in joint. Osteophytes are extra bony protrusions formed due to friction inside joint--regards
