hi doc, i was treated with tb and i am completed it within 6 months last two years ago and negative for the sputum every test until i have completed with my medicine....and now i have a chest x-ray finding that there suspicious densities in the right apex and dextroscoliosis of the dorsal spine..
TB usually infects apices of lungs and after treatment, there is residual scarring and fibrosis in the previously infected area. these area become normal part of your lungs and do not necessarily represent infection. these changes persist forever in the lungs.
