What Does The Following Blood Test Report Indicate?

Several lab results are out of normal range--Esinophils high 13%, all these just a little low, WBC 3.0, RBC 4.04, HCT 37%, absolute Neut. 1.5, absolute lymph 0.8, Platelet 136, T3 56 is low, (other thyroid test are normal range), total cholesterol 258 (high), HDL 129 (excellent). Any cause for concern, I see my MD Monday. Thanks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

High total cholesterol indicates lipid metabolism or synthesis issue and has to be co related with detailed metabolic profile and ultrasound of the liver. The high eosinophils indicate allergic condition or sometimes auto immune related cases. Your MD will be able to co relate the things clinically and guide you in further details there on.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
