Hello,

this blood test shows that your red blood cells as smaller than normal and that the hemoglobin content in your red blood cells is lower than normal. This usually indicates low blood iron levels, otherwise called iron deficient anemia. Taking iron tablets, along with iron rich foods, such as red meat, pulses and beetroot, should help get your iron levels back to normal.
It is however important, depending on age and gender, to determine the cause of anemia. Knowing your full medical history, is key in determining the cause.

Wishing you all the best
