What Does The Following Blood Test Result Indicate?
Hi Dr. I am calling from Jordan. A blood test result of a 2 years old child was identified as follows: Normochromic, normocytic red blood cells. Mild leukopenia with relative monocytosis. Platelets appear normal. Please Dr.: I thank you in advance for answering what does this mean????? With appreciation
all result are normal except low wbc count and low monocyte count. might be having some infection which is to be clinically examined and diagnosed. consult paediatrician and to be kept under observation for signs and symptoms. inform about any other problem the child is facing so that it can be correlated.
