What Does The Following Blood Test Results Indicate?
hello, im 27 y/o male 105KG weight and 174CM , i did blood test and some results are like this: acide urique: 7 mg/dl cholesterol: 186 mg/dl HDL : 40 mg/dl LDL : 136 mg/dl SGPT : 76 U/L hematocrit :51.6% lymphocytes : 56% i m not a smoker and i don t drink alcohol (maybe once a month or less) and i don t eat too much but my work is office work sitting all day! is these levels are dangerous? what i should do? thank you
The sgpt is actually slightly increased but this is a mild increase. An increase is considered mild when it is less than 2 to 3 times the upper limit of normal.
In recent times, one of the more common causes of increase in liver enzymes is non alcoholic fatty liver disease. This is the build up of fat in the liver that is not related to alcohol use. It is related to diet and exercise level and can progress to cause inflammation and damage of the liver if there are no changes.
The other values are not significant.
Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell and are interpreted along with the white cell count. Hematocrit is interpreted with the Hb.
