My son had blood work done and had several items that were outside normal range: “Mucous Urine present /lpf “ “Bacteria Urine Rare /hpf “ “Monocyte Percent “high” “Hematocrit low . Does the combination of these characteristics suggest anything.
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You mucous in urine and rare bacteria in urine is normal findings. It doesn't suggest any abnormality. Low haematocrit suggest anemia. And high monocyte count suggest some viral infection or other infection. So take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
