What Does The Following Chest X-ray Report Suggest?
Hello doc, ive been diagnose tb last 2015 and treated 6 mos. I am fully recovered now. When i Got this Chest xray again because i have to work. The chest pa view Fibrohazed densities seen in both upper lobe and the costrophrenic angles and hemidiaphrams ar intact. Said the doctor that i had to get pulmo clearance as fit to work. .What is this means.?
Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through your short description and I can understand your concerns. According to the X-ray report ,you have fibrohazed(kind of scarring) in the apex of both your lungs. This is common finding after an episode of pulmonary tuberculosis . This is not a sign of active infection and no treatment is required as of now. All other findings are perfectly normal. You don't need to worry regarding this and no treatment is required also. Since you have a lesion in the X-ray you have to get a certificate from a pulmonologist that it is nothing but a harmless feature. It is just a formality and no need to worry. Hope I have answered your query. Wishing you good health. Regards
