What Does The Following Findings Of Prostate Gland Indicate?
my husband is 40 years old.His prostate gland is slightly enlarged. It measures 3.6x 3.6 x3.0 cm with an approximate volume of 21 cc. Calcifications are seen in the central parenchyma. His general findings was: fatty infiltration of the liver. mild prostate gland enlargement, grade 1 with concretions..what we shall do?
Thanks for posting your question on HCM! I appreciate your concern for your husband's problem As per the ultrasound findings given, your husband is suffering from Benign prostate enlargement. If he is experiencing some urinary problems he must consult an urologist for the treatment may be he needs some medication to improve his micturition problems if any.
Regarding the fatty liver, it can be managed by life style modifications like reduction of body weight (if obese), eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables ( which contain anti oxidants), avoidance of fast foods, oily vegan and non vegan foods and of course the alcohol.
I hope your query has been answered. Regards.
