What Does The Following Follicular Study Indicate?

I have taken hcg 5000 on my 14th day of period. That time my follicle size was 21mm. On my 17th day I took follicle study and found, a follicle size got increased to 26*31 mm and my endometrium thickness is 13 mm. The follicle was not ruptured. hence my doctor gave another hcg 5000 on my 17th day and asked to go for scan on 19th day. Could you please suggest on is it good that follicle size got increased and wen I can expect it to rupture. Note: I was having irregular period, sometimes I get after 60 days and sometimes may not. Hence I used to take meprate.

Hi, I think it happens sometimes that the follicle doesn't rupture. Generally 5000IU of hcg is enough for rupturing but if it doesn't work then 5000IU is given again. In most cases it ruptures after that. So, you can expect a rupture within 34 to 36 hours after the injection.
