What Does The Following Liver Function Test Report Suggest?
I m diagnosis with hepititis b positive rested on August 18 Jaundice 3 weeks Bil-0.4 SGOT-1298 SGPT-2620 HBSAG+ve-464.900 COI HBV DNA-135581 IU/ml HBEAG-negative 0.034 OD And tested LFT on Sept 8 Bil-1.9 ALT-95 And tested LFT on Sept 25 ALT-63 Kidney function test URIC ACID-7.1 mg/dl Test result on Sept 13 for IGM anti HBC is 9.12 Please help me am I acutely or chronicly I ve been to 3 doctor but all the advice they gave me seems different and make me stressful On the first visit to doctor, advice me for tab.udiliv 300mg 12th hourly for 14 days I m in very stressed and worried of what gonna be happen in coming future. Family depends on me and I work night shift at call center for leaving and unmarried Regards Singh

You are HBSag positive case , acute case.
Hbsag investigation by ELISA needs to be done again after three month and after six month.
If after six month Hbsag positive than case is chronic carrier.
Take udiliv as prescribed by doctor.
If you are carrier than also no need to worry, regular follow up report is enough.
If you are chronic case and liver enzymes raised to much high level with hbeag positive than only antiviral drug needed

Avoid alcohol and eat green leafy vegetables more
