Female 47 years old. .had Dub sins 2 month she treated with primolut nor 10 mg 1×3 For 3 weeks Megamox 1gm twice daily for one week Her liver function test S.g.pt ALT 53 U/L S.g .o. t AS T 41 U/L please what the possibility of elevation of liver function what the other investigation to do thanks
Well, Primolut nor can cause a mild elevation of liver enzymes, which has no serious effect on your health, and would disappear with discontinuation of Primolut nor. SGOT(AST) is normal, and SGPT(ALT) is slightly elevated.
Again. there is nothing to worry about. I recommend that you ontinue on your medication and redo the liver enzymes test 1-2 weeks after stopping it.
