What Does The Following Liver Profile Report Indicate?
hi doctor,i am aruni.53 years old.i am very fat lady. i done some test about my health.till the one month my feet are swelling..yesterday i got my liver profile reports other reports. 1. ALT(s.g.p.t) 54.3 ,AST(s.g.o.t) 45.3 andGAMMA-GT 61.3.other things normal. 2.(3rd genaration) T.S .H -6.802 3.E.S.R-27 other reports normal. thank you.
Your liver enzymes are a bit higher than normal. That is due to the fatty liver I suspect. To confirm an abdominal ultrasound to run together with explanatory hepatitis testing.
Your TSH is a bit higher than normal, this might be due to under reactive thyroid explaining why you are very fat. Under-reactive thyroid causes reduced metabolism rate.
Immediate consultation with an endocrinologist as might need to start prescription meds together with a further consultation with a liver specialist.
Should start healthy changes in your diet and lifestyle regimen. Take Silymarin and vitamin E supplement as potent antioxidants.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
