What Does The Following Neck MRI Report Indicate?

Thank you for taking my question , got results from MRI scan on my neck today , I have this unbareable pain the last 6 months , all my gp does is gives me pain killers , she kept telling me it was wear and tear from my job , the scan showed I have bulging discs in my neck , the pain is so bad I can t even sleep with it , I wake up with it and go to bed with it , I m just worn out from it , my gp just gave me more painkillers , there has to be something else to help me with this horrible pain , I have it 6 months , could it just go away on its own ??? General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
A bulging disc may be very painful especially when nerves are compressed.Treatment options for such conditions may include: different lines of pain drugs depending on pain intensity, myorelaxants, steroids, physiotherapy and surgery in some cases.Your Doctor may prescribe you pain drugs like aceclofenac and myorelaxants like miorel.
I will also suggest you see a Rheumatologist for evaluation and other treatment options and if need be, the opinion of a Neurosurgeon may be requested.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
