What Does The Following Pelvic Scan Report Indicate?
Hi i got my pelvic scan done recently and in report it says like this Anteverted midline 7.6cms x 3.4cms x 2.6cms Myometrical echoes are normal Endometrial echo 7.3mm Also 4cms cyst is found in right ovary and i am yet to get my periods. Question 1: what does Endometrial echo 7.3mm mean? any problem with this Question 2 : Is cyst going to be any problem
different organs/structures give different appearances(echoes) on ultrasound. so, the endometrium is normal. small cysts normally develop in ovaries. it can also represent a dominant follicle. cysts less then 5cm dont even need follow up.
