General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the fluid collection of 47 mm in pelvic area on left adnexa is indicative of chronic pelvic inflammatory condition. It is best recommended to consult your OBGYN and co relate on physical examination findings how much relevant is this report in your case. In many of the issues, one requires cervical swab, endometrial biopsy with surgical intervention as per the need after conservative therapy trial of a sufficient period of time.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
