What Does The Following Pelvic Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
hi am 23 and i did a pelvic ultrasound scan an it revealed that a non-gravid uterus seen measuring 5.8cm*4.65cm*5.20cm. #the endometrium appears to be norma.l #mild fluid collection noted on the right fallopian tube is is keeping with right hydrosalphinx. #mild fluid noted in the P.O.D. #the left adnexa appears to be normal. so please can you please explain to me what does that mean and is there a possibility that i can have a kid
1.The report suggest there is a tubular dilatation on the right adnexa - which suggest more of fallopian tube dilatation. 2.Dilatation of the tube can be seen due to to the distal obstruction - which can be due to stricture / narrowing of the tube. 3.In this case further action should be an HSG - hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is an X-ray test that examines the inside of uterus and fallopian tubes and the surrounding area. 4.It is done through the vaginal route - a die is sent through cervix and uterus - where uterus and tubes can be delineated and spillage can be seen. 5.If you having difficulty in conceiving then further investigations are required. As left sided there is no pathology identified you can try with ovulation calendar and follicular studies and so on.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
