What Does The Following Posteroanterior Chest X-ray Report Suggest?

Hello Doc, I had done my Chest PA last 16 Mar. 2017 and my findings are; There are ill defined densities in the left upper lobe. Trachea is in the mideline. The heart is not enlarged. The hemidiaphragms are smooth. The costophrenic sulci is intact. Rest of the visualized osseous and soft tissues are unremarkable. I was advised for Apicolordotic view for further evaluation. Do I have to worry? Thank you and regards, Judith

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The given X-ray is perfectly normal and there is nothing abnormal to worry about. The physician wants to look further and that’s why he has advised for another view to visualise more.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
