What Does The Following Semen Analysis Report Suggest?
Hey doc. I recently had a semen test and the results were as follows: Volume: 1ml Appearance: yellowish, watery fluid No spermatozoa seen in direct preparation. On centrifugation the sample is obscured by cellular debris and squamous cells making it difficult to detect the presence of spermatozoa. My question is how can I reduce the cellular debris and squamous cells and are they dangerous.
Hi Thanks for the query to H C M. Before this , please read these lines very carefully. Spermatogenesis is the sequence of events in which the spermatogonia are transformed into MATURE SPERMATOZOA. Although the sperm is produced in the SEMINIFEROUS TUBULES of the TESTIS, while other organs of the male reproductive system contribute to the composition of the SEMEN. Now answer of your question cellular debris and squamous cells don't play any part in sperm formation so don't take any tension . Just consult an ENDOCRINOLOGIST + SURGEON and get their opinion that where lies main defect and also consult an infertility specialist . Hope this information will be useful for you. Good luck.
