How can someone treat Citrobacter koseri in the semen. please sir I have this semen result.Is it ok? Physical examination: Volume: 5.0ml Viscosity:Normal Appearance : White opaque Consistency: Viscous Liquiefaction 1 hour Chemical examination: PH: 8.0 Microscopic examination: Semen motility: Progressive motile:35% Sluggishly Motile: 20% Non motile: 45% Abnormal form: 20% Pus cells :4-5/hpf R.B.C : Absent Epithelial cell: 0-1/hpf organism isolated : Citrobacter koseri

Hi I think you should get a semen culture and sensitivity test done to find out the antibiotics which needs to be given to treat the infection. You have not mentioned the sperm count. If it is more than 15 million per ml, it is fine. Motility and morphology is in normal limits. You can take some antioxidant and vitamin supplements for 3 months. Hope it helps.
