I have gone for Semen analysis test,my age is 34 years,married for one year,My report details are below. hysical Examination Volume : 2.0 ml 2 - 5 ml Colour : Greyish White Viscocity : Viscid, Opaque Liquefaction time : 30 Minutes 20 - 30 Minutes Biochemical Examination Reaction / pH : 8.0 7.2 - 7.8 Fructose (Qualitative) : Present Present Microscopic Examination Total Sperm Count : 28 Millions/ml 15 Million / ml Agglutination : Present Absent Total Motility *(a+b) a) Progressive Motility : 05% b) Non Progressive Motility : 20% c) Non motile : 75% Morphology** a) Normal forms : 06% b) Abnormal forms : 94% Other Findings Pus Cells : 25-30/HPF 0 - 1/HPF Epithelial Cells : 1-2/HPF 0 - 8/HPF Spermatogenic Cells : Nil RBC : Nil Impression : Asthenozoospermia with evidence of infection
u c the motility of sperms have decreased, the sperms need to travel to the ovum but in case the motile sperm count decreases the change of fertilization decreases, u can try L-carnitine and vitE supplements as they tend to increase the motility count
