General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You will need to have tests to rule out chlamydia and gonorrhea infection. If you test positive you will need to be treated with antibiotics and your husband as well.
Vaginal infections generally are not a cause of infertility. Chlamydia and gonorrhea may cause an infection that affects the tubes and result in infertility.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
