What Does The Following Spine MRI Report Indicate?
My husbands spinal mri diagnosis says marked abnormal bone marrow signal intensity on L1 and L2, consistent with discitis & Para vertebral abscess , plus several other lines of diagnosis. He s had mrsa thats attacked his spine surgery from 4 mos ago which abscessed & also knees. Now another hole on his buttuck that won t heal lead to this MRI. How serious is this new development & what is in store as far as recovery. His previous IV of vancomycin isn t killing the mrsa.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the abscess being detected and puss is there then it needs to be ruled out it is the rule and it can not be leave there like that only it may be kind of serious condition and need to be taken accordingly hope this information concern.
