Hi Thanks for your query. Based on your reports and query 1. The bronchial aspiration smears show two different organisms. 2. One gram positive cocci which will respond to usual antibiotics. 3. Second one is Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Thid is a bacillus which needs special stain for detection that is acid fast/ ZN stain. 4. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the causative organism of tuberculosis. 5. Your mom requires specific treatment for tuberculosis. Hope this helps
