What Does The Following Stool Analysis Test Report Indicate?

Hi. My 2y/o son weighing 14.5kg has bloody diarrhea and mucus in it accompanied with fever for 4 days now. He is irritable most of the time maybe because of his abdominal pain. Stool analysis result reveals the following: color=brown; consistency=watery;RBC=1-3hpf; Pus Cells=5-10 hpf; fat globules=rare; bacteria=moderate. He is taking Cotrimoxazole syrup 4ml every 12 hours and Erceflora 3x a day, as prescribed by his pediatrician. I am worried because it seems his condition is not improving. Thank you for any advice you could give.

Hello,

Shift to syrup cefixime 3ml twice daily for 5 days. Sporolac sachet 1 sachet twice a day in milk or water. Reduce consumption of milk and give other foods. Avoid outside food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
