Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Presence of fungal cells & bacteria under high magnification indicate-
- Presence of
oral thrush infection in babies mouth.
- Sore or cracked nipples which harbor fungus/ bacteria- which enter baby's stomach while breast feeding.
- Possible infection of baby's bowels( Mucus +ve )
* These might have excreted through baby's motion & shown in the report- as at 1 month.. baby's intestines are are yet well formed & she tends to pass watery & frequent stools.
Such condition needs treatment of
nipple infection of mother & observing more hygiene while breast feeding & breast care/ treatment of oral thrush of baby.
* The infection of baby's bowels needs treatment. It's suggested by-
- More
watery stools & less urination/ crying while passing stools (
colic )
Uncomfortable & irritated & fussy or drowsy baby showing signs of dehydration( Less urination,
dry mouth, no tears while crying, sunken eyes, shrunken skin soft spot on baby's skull( fontanel), skin non elastic)
If any of these symptoms call her doctor earliest.
Thanks.
