I were feeling abdominal pain from about 1 year also was taking medicines from many Doctors but i feel only short term relief. Yesterday i test my stool from a lab. my test results are: Physical Examination AAppearance is Brown Mucous Present Consistency Semisolid Blood Nil Chemical Examination Occult Blood Positive ph Acidic Reducing Sub Absent Trypsin Present Microscopic Examination Pus Cells 6-8 RBC 3-4 Mucous Nil Vegetative Not found Ova Ancylostoma duodenale Cysts Not Found Kindly suggest me something
Your report suggests chronic amoebiasis. It is a parasitic infection. I suggest take metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily for 5 days along with ibuprofen 400 mg as and when required for abdominal pain. You are also advised to take plenty of water. Please visit a nearby doctor if your condition remains same or worsen.
